“Any of you that have followed us for a while will know that I’m a MASSIVE fan of Indian cooking. When I stopped eating meat (and gave up most dairy) I started working a lot harder to get a kick out of my food and craved stronger flavours - which is why Indian food became such a fantastic choice with the huge array of spices to work with.

Since we moved to Radwinter (Saffron Walden) as a family, we hadn’t found a truly amazing Indian restaurant, that was until we got introduced to TAWA KITCHEN (Cambridge) and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT 🙌!

The staff were lovely and friendly and took the time to take us through the menu - we had such a delicious meal! We (almost purposefully) over ordered as we wanted so much on the menu - but took what was left home and had it for lunch the next day 😋.

I can’t wait to go back, and we’ll be going in a bigger group so we can order even more dishes.

I’ve been to a lot of good Indian restaurants and I’m so delighted that we’ve found one more local than London!

Writing this is getting me excited about the next visit!!! 😋”

“So glad I have found this place, it’s in the new development near Cambridge train station. Great restaurant setting and good atmosphere as well! Really liked the menu, this is an Urban Indian Restaurant so it had a few different things and so many vegetarian options which was perfect for my friend! I had the Chaat for starter with the Crispy Kale which was lovely!! Even with a wide variety I had a Korma for main 😅 But it wasn’t like a normal Korma, little bit spicier and also the chicken was on the bone, it was cooked perfectly and fell off the bone. We also shared some Naans and Rice, the Plain Naan was a bit dry but the Butter Naan was really good!!

Highly recommend this place and I will definitely go again!”
